How to remove item from Change/Remove Programs list in Control Panel in Windows 2000?

There is a Kodak digicam driver I tried installing. It died halfway through but the driver is now listed in the Change/Remove Programs page in Win 2000.

If I try to remove it, it says it was OK but it remains.

However, now whenever I try reinstalling the driver it ask me if I want to REMOVE the driver. When I say yes it doesn't.

I've tried deleting all references in the registry to Kodak to no avail. Norton SystemWorks says there is nothing wrong.

This is @^$%&@*@^ irritating.

Tried the Norton System Works 2001, but it's too buggy to keep, except for Cleansweep.
Try using (30 day trial) System Mechanic <a target=new href="http://

Another better system utility is: Ontrack System Suite 3, which includes Trend Micro antivirus.
