How to Remove heatsink on Gigabyte DS3

Im not sure if your allowed to apply AS5 to chipsets? If so I still cant find a way to remove the chipset heatsinks on my mobo. Is there a special way to push the pins ??

the pins have barbs that open behind the PCB & the pins are kept under tension with springs & hence keep the hs tight.
if you want to reuse the pins then you will have to remove the mobo from the case & pinch those barbs shut thereby allowing the pins to be withdrawn.
