i had been able to do so easily from a geforce2 mx400 i had, but the visiontek geforce3 ti200 seems to be thermal-glue-pasted on. i'd like to stick a blorb on it but does anyone know how i should go about removing the stock hsf?
Putting my card in the freezer wasn't quite enough, I had to the turn a can of compressed air upside down and spray the heat sink to freeze it some more. Then a careful twisting motion should do the trick.
<< an old trick: put it on the freezer for about 30 minute or so.
the thermal paste it getting harder when it's hot and vice versa.

I second the motion, but be careful. I destroyed my old TNT2 yesterday when I pulled the GPU straight from the PCB with a set of pressure pliers. Neat...
