How to remove car emblem without messing up paint.

I want to get rid of the fish my sister put on the back of my car when she had it. You all know what i'm talking about. Anyone know how to get those off easily?

dental floss...

just slip the dental floss under the badge and pull... it should come off without messing up the paint...

but keep in mind, if that badge was on the car for quite a while, the paint under the badge will probably be different color than the rest of the car...

Hair Dryer on it for a few minuted to loosen the glue then fishing line or dental floss sliding in from the side. Go slowly so you dont mess up the paint etc.

viper22 gives great advice, also you can go to walmart and in the auo-pait section buy a bottle of 3m tar-wax-adhesive remover that will help clean up leftover goo.

once you get the fish off then clean off the sticky stuff with isopropyl alcohol

after you remove it, WD-40 is also a good way to remove the old adhesive

Personally, I'd just grab it and rrrrrip it off (assuming it's plastic, which it certainly is) and use some WD-40 to remove the goop. After you use the WD-40 or Tar/Adhesive Remover, you will need to re-wax the paint, as either of the aforementioned products will take the wax right off. You DO wax your car regularly, right?
