How to remove a W2k install?

Friend got a laptop that has both ME and W2K with dual boot. Not sure which was installed first but she wants to remove the W2K installation.

She is not local to me therefore I have no access to the laptop.

I have found info about removing a Win98/WinME install but not the other way around.

Any help?

Have her check her c:\boot.ini . I would assume that on a laptop she is using a single disk with a single partition. The boot.ini should point to the folder(s) the OS has been installed into. By defaults the W2K installation should be in c:\winnt, while ME should be in c:\windows. The boot.ini should verify the location of the W2K installation. Remove the offending entry for W2K from boot.ini and delete the c:\winnt folder.

Why would you want ME over 2K, that's a entirely different thread altogether. 😉
