How to remove a timeout

Can anyone tell me how to remove a timeout from a program? I have a freeware program that times out after 14 days unless you register and give them all kinds of info. Any help would be appreciated.

Try uninstalling it, deleting the registry key, then installing it again.

Can you give me some specifics. I'm not very good with the registry. I nosed around, but could not find a key that seemed to apply.

That would not be freeware. That would be shareware... there is a huge difference in these terms. Go search the warez sites for a crack or since you apparently like the software enough to use it so much... register and pay for it.

This software does not require you to pay anything. Only to register and provide some personal information, that I do not want to divulge. If that is considered shareware, then my mistake. I do not mind paying for shareware.
