How to reduce Vista Restore Space

This is insane, I have a 74 gigabyte hard drive with 22 gigs free. The only large chunch installed in 30 gigs of music, I should have around 30 or so free... wtf mate 🙁

Sounds about right. System restore can take up to 15% of your available space, IIRC. So 74GB - 8GBish for Vista - 30GB mp3s - 12GB (~15% of 74GB) for system restore = 24GB free. Sounds like it might be time for a new HDD.

That's probably going to be a mantra with Vista -- "Loaded Vista? Sounds like it's time for a new (insert component here)" 🙂 You might want to try treesize just to veryify what's taking up the space.
