How to Recover Partition Magic-lost partition?

My computer crashed while Partition Magic was performing partition resizing,and lost logical partition which is full of data. I saw on computing.net forum one recomendation how to recover it,but after that 3C->0B action in PTEDIT32, Windows 98 can see that the "lost PQrp" partition exists-now as FAT32- but the problem is that data is all messed up ( I can see just a lot of garbage on the screen-can anybody help me?I have important stuff there???
and it's quite urgent !

You might want to look at software like easy recovery from ontrack (http://www.ontrack.com/easyrecovery/). That might let you recover the data from the partition.

I used that software before and found it to be a lifesaver, out of 13,000 images, it recovered about 10,500, approx 1,000 were corrupted and the rest were lost.....not bad.

I have found partition magic 7 to be a bit useless so far.
