
There is a good chance that people tend to delete files, folders or documents by accident from their Mac system. Mac OS X provides users with the ability to recover the deleted files. Step 1
Install and Open 'Disk Drill' Application
Firstly, you will have to download the ‘Disk Drill’ from https://www.cleverfiles.com/ . Then from the Downloads folder, you need to click and install the application. Open the Disk Drill application and select the system name as shown below.

Step 2
Select ‘Down Arrow’ Button
Now press the 'Down Arrow' button near the system name to view all the partitions that belong to your system to recover the deleted files.

Select ‘Partition’
Now select the 'Partition' you need and click the 'Down Arrow' near the continue button as shown below. This will provide you with some options related to the recovery of the deleted files.

Step 4
Select ‘Undeleted Protected Data’
From the list of options, you need to choose the option ‘Undelete Protected Data’. This will help you in recovering the deleted files on your Mac system.

Step 5
Select Files to ‘Recover’
Enable the checkbox for all the files and folders that you would like to recover back. By doing this, you will find all the files chosen getting recovered to their original location with the same directory hierarchy.

Step 6
Select ‘Recover’
Now after choosing the files to recover on your Mac system, you need to click the ‘Recover’ option.

Step 7
File is Successfully Recovered’
If the recovery process is successful, you will find the green tick mark stating that the chosen file has been recovered to its original location on your Mac system.
