How would I go about recording a short session of me playing a FPS game on my PC?

TV-Out to a VCR if you have a TV out on your card.

I use hypercam to prove I've done what I said I could do in Video games. I've used it to prove I've beaten others in games like half life, il-2 and MSCFS3 online.

works like a champ and you can get it via shareware.
