Hi group. I want to record a phone call I'm going to make to a .wav file .
How would I go about doing it? It doesn't really have to be a .wav file. Any sound format will do , as long as I can play it back again. TIA

I want to record some phone calls to my HD too. Don't you need some special hardware that connects your phone line to your soundcard? Anybody have the scematics to build such a device?

FYI ? It depends on the state that you are in regarding the legalities of recording phone calls (or conversations). For example?here in Utah only one party needs to know that the call is being recorded.

ONE party! That's nice. Like the one doing the recording.
Typical lawyer who made up that law. Selfserving to the max.

You could use something like Dialpad if you are the one doing the calling.
