Hi, i used to install Linux in this Hard drive, however, i can't figure linux out, so i decided to switch to Windows, however, when i try boot using a boot disk, and got into dos and wanted to access the hd, i can't see it in dos mode, and when i get into fdisk, i saw it is in Non Dos format. I think thats why i can't see it in dos, i need to format it with window98 cd but i can't. Does anyone know how i can reverse the hd to dos format?Hi, i used to install Linux in this Hard drive, however, i can't figure linux out, so i decided to switch to Windows, however, when i try boot using a boot disk, and got into dos and wanted to access the hd, i can't see it in dos mode, and when i get into fdisk, i saw it is in Non Dos format. Use MaxBlast from Maxtor. This software is so easy to use my dad was able to set up a drive. This works with any drive and will be able to partition and format your drive after having linux on it. Jsut go to their web page and click on software downloads and look for Max Blast Plus.
