How to re-texturize the case panel?

Well from all the screwing and un-screwing ( no pun intended ), the paint that the screw grips off has worn down to metal. So what should i put around the screw holes so the screw grips to the case panel and stays on.

Not sure I completely understand what you mean. If you are refering to the bottom side of the screw head having a textured finish to grip the case. It isn't necessary for it to dig into the paint to secure the case panels. Of course you can repaint around the holes if you'd like.

Most case thumbscrews do not have a textured gripping surface that contacts the case. I used #6 nylon washers between my case and thumbscrews so that I don't get any scratches to my paint finish. The washers were like 5c each at Home Depot.
