How to RE-Configure Solaris 8 NOW on SMC Barricade??

I have Win9x, Linux, and Solaris 8/SPARC systems. All is OK and I installed an SMC router. My problem is that I now want to add my Solaris 8/Sparc machine and it is configured with fixed IP.

When I redo it what do I specify as gateway? Is it 192.168.123.254?

Also, what do I use as a domain name?

gateway = IP address of the router.
domain = anything you want.

Thanks, now I just have to figure out how to just reconfigure the eth0 card with out doing a sys-unconfig!

For default router edit /etc/defaultrouter
for le0 interface, edit /etc/hosts and the corresponding name in /etc/hostname.le0 (you are using solaris Sparc, not solaris intel, right?)

Yes, I am using Ultra 1. Sparc 167Mhz.

Also have nic as eth0.
