how to raise voltage on non adjustable board? P3

i have a slot 1 600e on a matsonic 7192s motherboard.
i remember reading awhile ago that cutting certain traces
on the chip would raise voltage.the motherboard voltage
is not adjustable in the bios,any have a link to this procedure?

Tom's Hardware page has info on tapeing the pins on a slot 1 to increase the voltage--it's from over a year age but it might help. R.

tried searching tom's hardware and found nothing.

this is a p3 so the p2 traces might be different.
