How to protect LCD monitor screen while moving.

I'm moving to another state Tuesday. I'll be driving and I'm taking my PC with me. I have the original box for my LCD monitor so I'll just stick it in there will good packaging. My question is, what should I put over the screen to protect it? I think it came with a plastic bag over it... So will I be fine just putting a garbage bag or something over the monitor?
I'm pretty picky about my stuff so I want the screen to stay perfect.

The way you've described is the ideal way to move your monitor. Bag over screen, LCD in it's original box/styrofoam. That's how I move my CRT monitors. No probs ever. Good luck.

or if don't have original packaging, I would find a large piece of cardboard, enough to cover the screen.. put garbage bag over it so its tight, then duct tape it (tape only contacts with the plasitc bag) to keep the cardboard in place.
and move it yourself. I never let others move my computer equipment.
