How to protect an internal HDD from being accessed if swapped to another computer?

I have a HDD that I keep mainly for certain videos that I would not like to be reused if my computer were to be broken into. Is there a way that while it's connected to my 24/7 PC that it'll act normal, requiring a Windows login to log into the computer but letting me use the HDD with no security. But if the HDD is removed and placed into another PC, I'd want some sort of protection on here.

bitlocker? don't think user accounts will do the trick (might be wrong though). bitlocker can be set to autologin on your PC but take the drive to another PC and it'll can't be accessed without your key

Pretty much, yes, Butlocker, or any 3rd party full hard drive encryption
