I usually pack electronic components firstly with anti-static plastic/wraps (great reason to keep those sheets from your purchases), then with ample padding outside (crumpled newspapers, bubble wraps, foam peanuts, etc) and finish off with thoroughly taped box.

Anti-static bags should definitely be on your priority list. Maybe put bubble-wrap OUTSIDE the bag after you've sealed it to protect from outside forces.

Electronic components, each inside their own anti-static bag. Put each component inside it's own small box. Fill the small box with crumpled paper to prevent component from moving around. Tape the small box and place it inside a plastic bag of some sort. This will prevent water damage during shipping. Do this for each component. Place all of these inside one larger box. At this point, you can wrap the boxes in bubble wrap or use peanuts. Thoroughly tape the larger outside box.

Static bag, bubble wrap and peanuts. But ensure that there are enough peanuts so whatever`s in there can`t wiggle its way to the edge of the box.

Didn`t realize packing was a highly technical thing. ;)

original box with original anti-static plastic bags.

If you don't have them, get anti-static bags, then bubblewrap and box, it should suffice.
