How to print a 168-page .pdf on less than 168 pages?

Damn. I want/have to print out a user's manual for some software. It's a 168-page PDF. I don't even have 168 pieces of paper left in my printer.

Any suggestions? No, my POS printer doesn't do double-sided....

Uh...print the first 84 pages, take them out, flip them over, put them back in the printer and print the next 84 pages? 🙂

Is there nothing in the Print Settings like you can do with Word, and print almost like an Index??? Multiple pages per sheet?

//Checking Adobe Acrobat

EDIT: Go to "Properties" on your Printer, and then choose the tab that says "Layout", and you have an option for how many "pages per sheet."

Print two per page, and use both pages.

168 / 4 = 42

I have enough paper for that. Let me try one page and see if it's legible. Thanks, her209! 🙂

If I did this on my printer, I would have 84 pages with one side blank and the other double printed.😛

Yes, your post was very helpful too, as that's exactly what I did, I went into "Layout" and got two per side. Thanks! 🙂

473? Sheesh, I don't feel so badly now. 😛

Get toner. Get paper. Hit "print." Go to bed. Should be done by morning!!!

I tried the two-per-page...text is too small.

Have to wait until tomorrow, when I can get some more paper.

Jesus, what are you printing up books? How about just printing the part that you need?
