Hello:
I have a strong desire to block all instances of a very specific image from a certain website.
How do I prevent my web browser from downloading all instances of website/image1.gif ? I need all other elements from this website to download, however.
It seems like a simple request but it's had me stumped for hours.
I've looked into the browser settings for IE, Firefox, and Safari. I'm running XP, I thought the Hosts file might do the trick but I think that's for entire domains. I have a Linksys router but (1) I don't know if its block list can do that, and (2) even if it could there's isn't enough space for the entire URL I need blocked. I looked into PeerGaurdiun2 but that seems for entire IP ranges.
Thank you in advance!
