How to power up motherboard without a case?

I'm waiting for a case to come but am getting impatient. I have all the computer componenets I need, but just lack the power switch that comes with a case. If I were to go to Radio Shack, what sort of switch would I need? Is there a standard that all ATX cases use?

I've got this dual XP1600 MP rig but just need the case just for the shell and that darn power switch. Help guys, I can't wait for the case to bring this baby to life! 🙂

BTW, I do have a power supply.

all you need is a screwdriver
short the pins that normally go to the switch and it will come to life

Tap the pins with a paper clip, screwdriver or other metallic object and you'll achieve the same thing as pressing the power button on a case.

And light up your nose. 🙂

Good suggestion guys. Funny thing is that after I plugged in the power cable to the AC outlet, the thing came to life by itself!

IT'S A LIVE!!!! MUHAAHAAHAA 😀
