I heard it could be done. So now I have my PS2 right here, and would like to know how to accomplish this.

Thanks :)

Oh and I have the s-video in and a converter for the multi out. Just I have everything plugged in, powered on, just don't know if I need a program or something to make this work.

you can buy a tv tuner card or a vga converter box. There may be other ways too.

I also have a TV Tuner card as well. But always thought going through my Video Card (9800 Pro) was the best way to go.

Question about Dscaler then. I DL'd it, have it running now, but how do I switch it to my video card? It's set on my TV card atm. That would be fine but the s-video out for my video card doesn't fit in my TV Tuner card, so now I'm forced to hook it up through my video card.

No go, will only dectect my Leadtek Win2000XP TV Card. Anyone else know of a program that will use your s-video on your graphic's card?

Most cards do not support video IN by default. They can often support video OUT, but video IN is usually not included.

You need some way to support video IN. Either an add in card or a video card with VIVO functionality.

Your graphics card has to have VIVO in order to use your card. It looks like you're going to have to use your tuner card or have a monitor that can accept Svideo or composite input like Dell 2001FP LCD.

Thanks guys

But also that leads to another question I have. I have a Leadtek Win2000XP TV Tuner Card, now what I thought is/was/looks like Svideo won't fit the svideo converter I have. If I went down to Radio Shack could they help me out or do I have to special order this part?

i have a leadtek tv card too.. it had a proprietary dongle that attached to the back of the card. Are you sure you're not missing a cable or something?

the dongle i had was a splitter type. One end into the video card.. the other end had two cables, Svideo and RCA.

I didn't think I was, guessing I am. Something like that able to be purchased at Radioshack that you know of?
