It just gives me hisses on my computer.. I understand that this means that the tracks are not decoded properly..

I don't have a SPDIF passthrough but can I make it decode the tracks using Audigy2's decoder or using software like in PowerDVD?

I've googled the hell out of this already still no go :/

Ummmmm... Where did you get these DTS CDs from? I have a lot to do with cinemas and those DTS Cds are treated like precious jewels. The CDs themselves are encrypted, that's why you only get static out of the AC3 files. Besides I am not sure but I believe that the bitstream is stored in a different format than with regular consumer CDs/DVDs as it also has a very detailed timecode stamp for synchronization. That the files are encrypted I can say for sure though.

These are DTS tracks ripped from a DVD, nothing to do with cinemas and precious jewels :)

I know it is able to decode it, but I think my DVD drive just wouldn't recognize the tracks properly.

EDIT: Ah well... it has been answered

Powerdvd with Audio set to SPDIF and the Audigys AC3 decoder set to enable would normally work.
