how to play back a vod file

i recorded a vod file with a video program what do i do with it now....

Do you mean a vob file?

use VCD gear.
It will let you convert that VOB to MPEG...
you can then use VirtualDub to save it as a .AVI DivX.

You will need an MP3 codec, like the Rhadium codec, and of course, the DivX codec.

NO definitly a VOD (video on demand) it was made by a program i used earlier tonight to record a live webcast i'd done.
