How to perform Altiris imaging via multicast?

I'll implement PIM-SM on a remote campus, so that they can push Altiris images out via multicast.
Does anyone know a good reference guide or website, that tell you exactly what to do on Altiris deployment server to make it work?
I have the network side covered, but am not sure what needs to be done on the server side.

I've downloaded manuals from Symantec.com, but to be honest I don't want to read through hundreds of pages, while the information pertaining to multicast is only a few pages long.

The multicasting section in the Deployment Server product guide isn't very long. I'd start there.

Also, query the Altiris knowledgebase (http://kb.altiris.com) for shorter instructions on how to configure multicasting correctly. There's a lot to take into consideration, even if you have the networking side of the house set up correctly.

Also try to use a private multicast address in the 239.x.x.x range.

You're correct it's not long at all.
However it only briefly says Altiris can use multicast, and doesn't say exactly what to do on the server.

I'll search for some KB documents to see if I have any luck there.

Cooky, if you're using DS the most recent versions are either 6.9 SP3 or 7.0.
