I'm new here and fairly new to computers so please bear with me. I have posted a few hot deals and people poast back saying that I should put a link to the site rather than just pasting the url.

Can you tell me how to do this, please

Also, say you have a thread in the for sale section, as you know it gets moved down the line very fast. I know you can "bump" it up to the top but will you tell me the easiest way to find the thread in the first place once it becomes buried on say page 15!

thank you

To find a thread either bookmark it or search for it by user name.
Edit>>> You could also "subscribe" to it.
To post a link:
highlight the url by left clicking on it, right click on it and select "copy". When you post a msg here you'll see the toolbar right above your text. Click http, right click in the box, making sure the http in the box is highlighted, select paste, ok in the text box give it whatever name you want and click ok. Your done.
It'll look like THIS

I am not sure what you mean. If it's a thread you want to follow, bookmark it or subscribe to it. You can also search for it by keyword. IE the thread is about video editing and you can't remember the name, search for video editing.
