Hello everyone, I apologize for my novice question but I have been working on a project for a while and I have reached a dead end. I’m seeking professional help to get me in the right direction.

When watching movies we are trying to use a couple of Pyle speakers to play the sound from my blu-ray player.

We have had success running a 3.5 mm Aux to ACA Stereo Cable from the blu-ray to the speakers but the sound sucks.

I think we can do better but the only way I can think to do this is by pairing the devices using bluetooth.

The Pyle speakers are bluetooth enabled. I can connect my iPhone to the Pyle speakers because in my iPhone settings under bluetooth devices I see the Pyle speakers. Is there a way to turn my blu-ray player into a bluetooth device to pair with the Pyle speakers, in the same way that I can pair my iPhone? If this can be done is there some kind of transmitter/receiver that I would need to purchase?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

The manuals for my Pyle speakers and Blu-Ray player are below.

If the sound sucks on hardwire, how is it going to sound better through Bluetooth?

There are bt transmitter with RCA stereo input, but I doubt that will help. Mabe get a better pair of RCA cable?

I am assuming you are using the RCA jacks on the back of the BDP S550 next to the S-Video jack? I don't see any minijack at the back.

Check bluray manual to see if there is any setting re audio out.

there does not appear to be a 3.5mm jack on that blu ray player that i can see in any pics. Use RCA cables as above poster mentioned.

You'll want analog stereo. All those audio drc and downmix is up to your preference. I would just leave it standard or normal.

Also unless you have 2 of those speakers then all you're getting is mono. You're not going to get the stereo separation.

The thing is if I connect via bluetooth to my iPhone it sounds great but it's garbage when I try to connect using the RCA cables. I'm just trying to figure out how I could improve the situation. I have two speakers and they have amplifiers built in them. They aren't as bad as everyone thinks.

What cable are you using? I don't see minijack on the brd.
