So it seems a certain local rider decided to enter a crit up in Charlotte without paying to register (probably recycled his number from the previous day).

He then laughed about it in <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.jeredgruber.com/index.php?page=news1&id=317
">his blog</a> (end of the "Day 4" post).

Someone noticed this and ratted him out and it looks like the USCF regional coordinator is looking into the matter (and will probably suspend his ass).

This guy's not going to be able to show his face on the local rides this winter. :laugh:

Nope. I don't even know the guy (although I do recognize him).

Good to see you're back Fausto...haven't noticed a post of yours in a while.

People are so stupid when it comes to the internet...this guy is obviously not immune to that stupidity.

Short for "criterium". Basically, a race promoter will close off a few city blocks (making a loop around 1km) and you race around those for 40 or 50 laps. They're usually total mayhem with 100 guys all trying to go around the corners at the same time.
