How to overclock socket 939 AMD 3800+?

How do I overclock this chip? John had a guide stickied but I can't use search since it's broken. Does anyone have a direct link?

939 cpus were cake to OC compared C2D's Lower you HT multiplier, up your cpu frequency, adjust voltage as needed.

Ah man, great old thread.

I was such a n00b back then.

The best part of that guide is something that so many overclockers never properly learn though: Isolate then Consolidate.

That advice is timeless, & is the key to OCing knowledgeably IMHO.

Don't forget to drop your memory ratio/divider ...

Yup, drop the mem ratio. And increasing voltage is the last resort. My chip goes from 2 Ghz to 2.6 Ghz with stock voltage.
