how to overclock intel 865 perl

just purchased this mother boared and a new liqued cool system and i wanted some help on how to over clock this mother boared.

you bought the wrong mobo.

Your intel board only has limited oc options in the bio's. On my intel 875 board Advanced chipset options set burn in mode to manual or aggressive, can oc 2% or 4% on the fsb, OR you can oc the agp/pci bus a little.

Try the Abit IS7, heard its cheep and oc's good.

Intel is supposed to release a software overclocking tool like easy tune that gigabyte uses. I posted a link about a month back with info on it.

I wouldnt count on the intel dcc being anything other than a monitor with limited bios configuration abilitys(from within windows.)
If intel was serious about targeting enthusiasts they would include more fsb and voltage adjustments.
Maybe they are loosening up a little bit at a time, 2-4% is quite a jump from 0% overclock capability
