How to OVERCLOCK any Video Card in 3 easy steps.

ATI Tool find max core / mem didn't work for me when I tried it. Wasn't even displaying my default clocks, perhaps b/c I'm using a beta driver 169.12 for my card?

I already had custom fan speed profiles set up in Rivatuner so I OCed manually using that, and it was pretty easy -- bump up, followed by two 3DMark06 runs each time checking for artifacts & snow. OCed the core with linked shader first, then the mem. Probably took a bit longer but no big deal. I actually found that beyond 620 core/1453 shader, there was more heat but no further performance upside. In fact, 3DMark score actually declined when I was at 630 on core. Mem maxed out ~ 1000 but I got best score ~ 975 mem.

This special edition SSC card stock clocks are 575/1350/900. OCed to ==> 620/1453/975

Anyway, the point is I feel I discovered the most efficient combo of clocks for my card doing it manually the long way.
