How to overclock a T Bird?

I am going to build a new system. Thinking of the Abit KT7 ATA100 with a T-Bird 900. Would this be good for overclocking? Is there a better chip / board for overclocking at this level or a little below? I have a P3 800/133 now but want to build a new system to hook up a lan. Is the T Bird faster than the P3 @ the same clock speed. Thanks for any help.

The T-Bird and the P3 match up pretty well together with each having its advantages, but for the price, you can't beat a T-Bird. The KT7 is a great board for overclocking, just make sure you have sufficient cooling. I'm not sure how far a 900 would go, but my guess would be at least a 100mhz o/c.
