I have a Celeron 500MHz in a board with BX chipset. (Shuttle HOT-675)
Do you know how to unlock the multipler or how to run the FSB at 100MHz?
Thank you!

This link was a review on that board from Anandtech.

Also, there is a good link on that board. Check out the congiguration tables.

Since your clock multiplier is likely locked on the Celeron, you can only increase your FSB and Vcore voltage. The review and the config tables indicate the fsb must set with jumpers. You might try 75mhz at first. Then, try 100mhz fsb. I wouldnt mess with 83mhz fsb as it stresses your PCI and hard drives. You will need to increase the vcore voltage to get to 100mhz fsb. Unfortunately, I didnt see any vcore adjustments in the config tables. Check your manual for the board if you can find it. You might need a good Slocket do 100mhz. Likely, 75mhz fsb is all you will get which would give you about 562mhz.

Good Luck.

Yeah, there's almost no chance you're going to get that thing to run at 100fsb. The best PPGA Celeron for oc'ing would probably be the 366, which at 100fsb is running at 550. Some people get lucky with 400's, and have them running at 600. 600 is about the limit for that architecture, so trying to get a 500 to run at 750 is pretty much out of the question.
