What type of configurations are people running and
how do you optomize them for max thru put ?

first you make sure you got TeamTNT in the team entry part.

Second, just don't run anything else.

No screensavers, no video games, no nothing!

As for optomising a system, it is really all dependent on raw CPU speed, and the relevent optomisations for the specific processor you're running.

For example, P4's rule at this project, because of their huge raw CPU speed, and also because the SoB Client is optomised to use the SSE2 enhancements, which the P4 was designed for.

You will more than likely notice that your rate (cEMs/sec) will constantly change. This is because the speed depends on the k and n values that you are working on. In general, the higher the n, the faster it will go 🙂
