How to open Mac .img file on PC?

From what I've learned this is a "shrinkwrap" file (alladin systems)

1) I don't have access to a mac
2) this is a disk image, not a graphics image
- I think the underlying is .PDF so it should be useable on a pc
?

Did you check out Alladin's web site to see if they have a demo of the Windows version of that utility? I haven't looked in a while but I got a demo copy of Stuffit from there a while ago.

*.img files i thoguht were usually like iso's, cept you didnt have to burn them, they would load to the desktop and make the mac think there was a cd in...thats how i used to do C&C on my old performa.

ya...they are like image files for Adaptec Toast burning porgram and are opened with (on a mac) Alladen Shrink Wrap. However Winimage may open it....
