How to open IE5 maximized?

open a link..then adjust browser window to maximum size w/out using maximize button. then close all browsers.

should remember the setting.

Not sure if that's good enough for ya...but it is for me :p

hmmm...that might only work for new browser windows

instead of opening a link directly, try opening a webpage...then on a link right click and choose "open in new browser window"

then, resize that window...then close BOTH browser windows

see if that makes a difference

I think this is what you are looking for...

Right click on the IE icon on the desktop, taskbar, or wherever it is
Click Properties, and next to Run (3/4 of the way down), use the drop down arrow and change it from "Normal window" to "Maximized".
Click Apply, OK, and double click that icon to open IE

Should work for you. Hope this helps.

You can also hit F11 while the browser is open.

This will give you more screenspace than maximize.
