How to open/extract NT 4 service pack?

I just installed IE5.5 on my NT 4(chinese version) machine. Then I want to re-install SP6a , but it says my machine is high encryption, and the SP6a(chinese) version is standard encryption, so it cannot proceed. In microsoft's websitehere, it says I have to edit the update.inf in the service pack source files. But the SP6a file is a single .exe file of 36MB size. How can I extract the files to edit update.inf?

filename.exe -x, or that might be /x, dont remember.
That will let you extract it to a location of your choice.

Heh....we had the same problem at work earlier this week. No Chinese Tradition NT4 SP6a High Encryption version.....we needed it because we installed IE5.01SP1 on our distribution image....

Either edit the update.inf, or rename schannel.dll to schannel.bak and perform the update.
