This may seem kind of a stupid question to some people, but I am having some serious trouble trying to open my hard drive enclosure. It is a 3.5" USB 2.0 Aluminum Super Slim Hard Drive Enclosure.

Thanks in advance!

that should be easy. theres no screws? at the very least it should just pry open with your hands.

thats an aftermarket enclosure, they make those easy to take apart. nothing like say a western digital external enclosure with hdd already installed. what a BITCH! they seal those things up like nuke bombs.

there were two screws on it but nothing would come apart. Also, there were two little button like things that push in so I thought you push those in and pull something, but it wouldn't come all the way off.

Since you're obviously unconcerned with damaging the drive, you could always use a cutting disk on a Dremel. :)

pry harder man. also, look for stickers and rubber feet covering up screws as well. they usually try to hide them good, but also since you found those lock clips im fairly sure it will just take some muscle to rip it open. of course be careful of breaking it, and triple check for hidden screws.
