How to ONLY disable a wireless mouse waking computer from sleep (Windows10 Pro)?

That particular mouse has an ON/OFF switch. Just turn it off.

That's what I do with my Logitech mice when I am not using them. This is not an OS problem. This is due to the design of the Logitech devices, which are paired to the same USB connector. The only way, software wise, to change the behavior would be through the Logitech software, if they had such an option.

I also use the on/off switch on my mouse mainly to preserve battery power, but also to not accidentally start the computer when it is put to sleep.

Then get a mouse that uses a separate receiver. Or ask Logitech if they would make you some software that allows this.

Remove checkmark on "allow this device to wake the computer". :whiste:

OP, do you have an option in the BIOS to disable wake from USB?

@ Skorp, Ketchup - the OP did mention that he's tried that 🙂

The setting that you and the OP mentioned has worked for my with my Logitech cordless mouse on my current and previous platforms on Win7, though I also have a PS/2 trackball connected to a PS/2 -> USB adapter which that setting does not work for (perhaps because the option would need to be set specifically for the adapter, for which that option is not present).
