How to oc duron 800 to 1 ghz?

Is there a website that shows how to oc Durons? I built my friend a Duron 800 about 8 months ago and now he wants me to oc it to 1 ghz...

Ya there are but there is so much to this noone wants to type it all out. And there is so much written about it. Run a search of old threads here and look up overclocking on the internet. You will find tons of info. Come back if you have some specific questions or problems.

first connect the L1 bridges (the little gold dots on the ceramic) to unlock the multiplyer. Anandtech has an article on how to connect it. Then change the multiplyer to 10. TADA! you have an 1 gig duron.

If your motherboard don't support multiplyer adjustment, you can force it by connect some of the other bridges on teh ceramic. Find and Read the article, it tells you everything.
