How to OC a 2500

I have two chips, a 0307 and a 0417. I heard anything below 0339 is unclocked. But when I change the multiplier to anything about 11 it just stays at 11. It doesn't go any higher. I'm just wondering if you guys can tell me your ways of unlocking your chip. Thanks.

all you have to do is raise the fsb to 200 (to make it 400Mhz) and keep the multiplier at 11 and tah dah! you got yourself 3200+. 3200+ is actually 2.2ghz, and to calculate your clockspeed, you get the multiplier times the fsb. in this case, it'd be 11x200=2200MHz.

If you got 0307 chip (seventh week of "03), I'd think it was ur mobo that won't give you the higher multi's.
