Ok.....here's my problem. I have 3 computers. One running Win2k, one running XP(as of last night) and one running Win98SE. I connect through a Linksys router. The computer running XP has set itself up as a Internet Gateway and I don't want it that way. I want to use the router and NOT ICS. My problem is that I can't figure out HOW to fix it. There is no option to remove the Internet Gateway. And under my Local Area Network settings, I have gone to Advanced and all I have there is an option to use the Firewall. Any ideas? I don't want to have my router just sitting around. I'm a newbie to XP so perhaps I'm overlooking something? Thanks in advance!

Click the start menu and right click on ?My Network Places? and select Properties

Right click on your ?Internet? connection and select properties. Click the ?Sharing? tab at the top of the window. Next click on the only checkbox available (uncheck the box), ?Enable Internet Connection Sharing??. Click OK

Have you done something like this yet?

I don't have a sharing tab. :( I only have the General Tab.....for the firewall. I think I might reinstall XP and see if I can fix it. Thank you for the suggestion! Keep 'em coming if you think of something that might help! I appreciate it!
