ABC was worse on my system than azureus...it wouldn't stay running for more than 5 minutes without hanging or just dropping the connection.
plus, azureus allows you to select which chunks you want to download - you needn't download any pieces you already have (from edonkey, for example).
i just like azureus better, even if it is a bit of a resource hog.
