How to move win 8 VHD

Got a new install of windows 7, on a new SSD. I wanna put the VHD on the SSD, how can I move it and boot it.
 
Not possible huh?

Would copy and paste then running bcd edit work? Or system repair via windows 8 iso?

You can move a VHD wherever you want.. and yes then use BCDEdit. If you only have a single boot loader entry for your fresh Windows 7 install you will want to create a new boot loader or just copy the Windows 7 one and then modify the fields to point to the Win8 VHD as needed.
