Hello All,
I have a freind who finaly made the move from AOL to Broadband and would like to copy over the address book from her aol e-mail account to Outlook Express.
We looked but didn't see anything about exporting the aol address book.
BTW: she is running the version of Outlook Express that came with Windown XP Pro.

Thanks in advance

No takers?
There must be a way to transfer the address from an AOL account to Outlook Express! Isn't there?

OE has an Import function. Try Address Book > File > Import ( or something like that).

Of course, she'll need to know where the AOL file is located. Search function?

I looked ino this a year or so ago for a friend with aol who bought a new computer and was getting cable.

I never found a way to do it.

AOSmell's email application is proprietary and not compatable with anything other than AOSmell. AFAIK there is no easy way to do this, other than copy and paste all the info. Or retype it.
