How to measure CPU heat if no thermal sensor on socket

A lot of people here talk and own a MSI K7T Pro2-A MB, most oc theirs' too. I read over at a site that the pro2-a mb doesn't have a thermal sensor inside the cpu socket, so how do you know how hot the cpu is then?! Do you use a seperate device.

Thx

The pro 2 a does have temp monitoring, you can view it in the bios or install the hardware doctor software. It reads off one of the CPU/socket pins.

oh...then what's "Tom's hardware" talking about...
Says on one of their charts that it doesn't have one, oh well, you guys here know a lot so i'll take your advice. Thx
