How to manually uninstall Creative Soundblaster Audigy driver?

Anybody know how I can manually uninstall the audigy driver?

I tried using the program which caused my computer to crash hard with a blue screen.
When I rebooted, the original installation files were corrupted, therefore I can no longer use the Creative's uninstall program.

Do I just delete the directory with the creative program files, and then manually clean out my registry?

Are you talking about the driver or the software utilities?

You can uninstall any driver using device manager.
In XP right click on "My Computer" and click on "Manage". Highlight "Device Manager" in the left pane. Find the device in the right pane. Right click on it and click "Uninstall".

If you want to uninstall a program and it does not have an uninstall option or it is corrupted, use the Add/Remove option from the control panel. Alternatively, you can try re-installing the program and then un-installing it.
