How to make wired network has higher priority over wireless?

As title.

I already changed the order in Network Advanced Settings, but it seems wireless still gets higher priority if both wired ad wireless are connected to the router.

I mean if I was connected to the wireless router with wireless adapter first, and later on, connected to the same network with wired ethernet, how can I make sure the new data transmission will be through the wired ethernet, not wireless?

Is there a setting in Windows that I can set, or is disabling wireless adapter the only way to make sure wired ethernet is used?

Exactly what I needed, Jack. Thanks a lot!

So what does the network order sequence in Network Connections, Advanced, Advanced Settings, Adapters and Bindings, Connections box do?

Metrics is establishing how multi capacity of the computer (i.e. few Network cards) would interact with one source (one network or one Interent connection).

The advance setting is the inverse, its established how one computer would interact with multi sources.

Windows network capacities has a lot of settings that involve special work condition when used in specific situation.

Complex multi server business Networks, Scientific research, Complex Monitoring system etc. use these setting to establish the priorities of the connections.

As an example a Window computer can connect to both Windows Network and an old Novell Network, the advance setting allows you to configure Windows interaction with these two networks.
