How to make Windows 7 Taskbar look really cool

I am wondering how the desktop taskbar can look like one in the screenshot. Please help.

I have the Rainmeter program and I am using Enigma one as I could not get HUD Vision to work. I am baffled as to how they made the taskbar so different looking.

After thinking a lot about it, I think what they did was that they put a new taskbar on the real one and plugged in all those funky icons using rainmeter. Somewhat like Columns UI in foobar2000. Still baffled though.

A taskbar so excessively loaded smacks of confusing inefficiency, and is, IMHO, butt ugly. 🙂

I could not agree more. That has to be the most " Butt Ugly " desktop I have ever seen!

I hate seeing a cluttered desktop be it Icons or whatever. I wonder what his physical desktop looks like?

I'm with 2Xtreme21, that's most definately ObjectDock, which is skinable.

That is not the Windows taskbar. They've hidden the Windows taskbar and are using a dock like RK Launcher or Rocketdock or Objectdock.

Docks are a waste of time, a waste of system resources, and are, as stated "butt ugly". But, to each thier own.

That task bar is one of the reasons I dont like MACs. *shrug* But, like i said, if you like it, chase it if you want to...

I wasted all this time and energy setting Rocketdock up just to find out how butt ugly it is. During the second hour of the configuration process, I found the auto-hide option. It then bogged down my system so much I had to shutdown Java updater to make room for it. Crisis averted.

What once looked cool, now looks BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT FUGLY to me now that I have set it up. After one hour I uninstalled all the junk I loaded and got my old desktop back. What a relief! And it looks like this....
