How to make Win7 erase and redetect all hardware?

What I'm trying to do is make Win7 have to check all the hardware again, like Win7 is just being installed,
so wiping away ALL the updated or third party drivers is a must.

If you're wondering why, here it is:

I use a 3G dongle in my netbook and the installed files became corrupt due to a mistake by me.
I've tried to delete every single driver for it, but it goes to 'modem' mode instead of 'flash drive mode', which is what it does when there's no drivers installed.
I've hunted for all the drivers but I just can't go any deeper.

So 'resetting' the driver database and make it recognize everything like it's brand new should fix it.
Cumbersome, but I'll take that over browsing with my Blackberry as a modem at 5 kb/sec.
I could format the HD and start over, that would fix it too. But that's a last resort.

So... is there any way to do this? In Windows XP you just needed a new hardware profile, but that doesn't exist anymore.

Thanks for your help guys!
